How do I book a game?

WILL MY GROUP BE PLAYING WITH OTHERS?

While most games are private (your group only), others may join your game if all the spots aren’t booked. “Shared” games are most common on weekends, holidays, and during our busiest times.

In “shared” games, teams get to work together, get extra help, meet new people, and sometimes come away with long-time friendships (seriously, it happens more than you’d think). But if you are in an experience with others and don’t have a stellar time, let us know, and we’ll make it right.

DO I NEED TO BOOK IN ADVANCE?

Yes, we strongly recommend booking a reservation through the booking portal by clicking here.

AM I REALLY GOING TO BE “LOCKED” IN A ROOM?

The door is never actually locked, so you are free to step outside as needed to take a phone call, use the restroom, or grab some fresh air.

HOW EARLY SHOULD I ARRIVE FOR MY GAME?

Please arrive 10 minutes before your game time for check-in.

HOW MUCH DO YOUR GAMES COST?

60-minute games are $36.99 per person plus tax.

MY FRIENDS AND FAMILY ARE JOINING, HOW CAN THEY PAY FOR THE SAME GAME?

Our booking platforms allows for split payments. During checkout, you will see an option to Pay in Full or Split Payment. If you choose to split payment, you will be able to send an email with a link to others to pay their portion of the game.

Please note that split payments are only allowed on bookings made more than 24 hours in advance.

HOW DO I USE MY GIFT CARD(S)?

Each gift card is valid for one player in one game. Your gift card will be used to book your adventure, so make sure it’s handy when you make your reservation. When booking online:

  • Select your game, date, and time. Each gift card has a unique 13-digit code. Enter this code in the “Have a promo code?” tab on the payment page.

  • Multiple gift cards cannot be applied to one reservation; please give us a call to book your game.

  • You’ll receive a confirmation email for each card you use.

 

If you are having any problems using your gift card(s), please chat or call us and a team member will be happy to assist you!

WHAT IS YOUR CANCELLATION POLICY?

We understand that plans change, so reservations can be cancelled up to 48 hours before your game for a full refund! Give us a call and we will be happy to assist you.

CAN I RESCHEDULE?

We can reschedule games up to 4 hours before your reservation time. Within 4 hours of the start time, the game is not transferable and non refundable.

DO YOU HAVE PARKING?

We do not have our own parking lot, but there is paid parking nearby. We recommend grabbing a taxi, using a ride-share service, or walking when possible.

IS THERE AN AGE LIMIT?

We recommend our games for ages 13 and up. We do allow younger players, but some of the game content may be too difficult for them. A paying adult, 18 or older, must participate with anyone that is 14 and under. Also, any participants under the age of 18 will need an adult to sign their waiver.

CAN I BRING MY SMALL CHILD WITH ME?

Yes! Any child that is age 4 and under can come along with you and will be free of charge.

 

**Important**: please call us before making your reservation so that we can add their spot to your reservation, due to each game having a maximum capacity for space/players.

CAN YOU ACCOMMODATE LARGE PARTIES OR CORPORATE EVENTS?

Absolutely! While large public gatherings are not currently recommended, we can still help host large parties and corporate events by splitting large groups into smaller game rooms. We have a full-time team dedicated to helping coordinate all of the details for you. You can reach our Guest Experience team by calling (571) 771- 2311 or by emailing Info@EscapeRoomLive.com.

HOW LONG IS EACH GAME?

Each game is designed for 45 to 60 minutes of intense fun, depending on the game! Plan to spend 15 minutes prior to each game preparing and briefing for your mission, and 15 minutes after each game to debrief and take photos.

CAN WE BRING FOOD OR DRINK INTO THE GAMES?

We ask that no food or drink is taken into the game rooms. Alcohol is strictly prohibited on our premises.

IS THERE A PLACE WHERE I CAN KEEP MY BELONGINGS DURING THE GAME?

Yes! Each room includes a designated area for you to store small personal items while you play.

CAN WE PLAY YOUR GAMES VIRTUALLY?

We do not have virtual escape rooms but we recommend Remote Adventures from The Escape Game.

WHAT IS ESCAPE ROOM LIVE?

Escape Room Live is Alexandria's premier provider of escape rooms. Our adventures bring epic stories to life in a one-of-a-kind tactile experience.

ARE YOUR GAMES WHEELCHAIR ACCESSIBLE?

We strive to create an inclusive experience for all our guests and will do our best to accommodate any specific accessibility needs. THE WIZARD'S APOTHECARY - Has one section that could be tough from a seated position. This can be modified to be fully wheelchair accessible with advanced notice. There is one light clue that can be changed for guests with photosensitivity.

SHERLOCK HOLMES: A MATTER OF TIME - Fully wheelchair accessible.

EDGAR ALLAN POE: POE-RANORMAL ACTIVITY - There is one activity is not wheelchair accessible. We recommend having another player assist if needed.
